Well a few more successful miles put on the rear steer this weekend. I was able to muster up enough courage to get it up to speed and it felt really good! I'm beyond impressed and it's only going to improve with the king pin fix I'm working on.

Is that a bad boy buggy axle?

Old Honda fourtrax 350’s had a solid axle in the front that would be pretty easy to cobble onto a cart center section...

I’m currently searching for my cart donor axle (that matches my current rear axle) right now, then I’ll document my front drive axle build. I’ll be machining custom tube ends and spindles that are scale size from my truck and have an electric 4x4.

Either way. You do have an awesome build.

Yes sir, it's not the best design but from a practicality/affordability stand point it's probably the best choice. I wouldnt suggest it for mud/sandy uses tho. The components will quickly wear out. I made some simple but very effective changes to the king pins. Its extremely tight now and has wearable bushings in the joints rather than wearing the housings out.

The rear steer actuator has worked perfectly minus so interference in the positioning signal. It tends to under travel when you try and turn while moving which is alot better than over travel but still annoying. I dont think I cant get rid of the noise DC motors are just dirty electrically speaking.

Thanks CG I can report good results as well I've not had a single issue with the rear steer. My suspension on the other hand has been a PITA! So much so that I am looking at raising my garage door opening another foot and going to coil overs all round. I'm sick of the air valves. I've tried multiple sets and keep getting sticky/leaking in the valve manifolds.

Nice [emoji106]. I finished the solid front axle a while back but haven’t installed it yet. I was thinking about this post..... maybe I’ll build the rear axle the same as the front and make it 4x4 and 4 wheel steering.....[emoji848]
