we put both white wires on the driver side solenoid on one post and disconnected the two small ones. I will have to check what the reading is.

we were getting 28v on the positive side of the bigger post on the incoming post. we did not try the small the ones. what should they read?

small ones should read 48v when the pedal is depressed.

On Both the small and the large post we are gettting 27-28V

If you have one lead on one small post and one lead on the other small post. When the pedal is depressed with key on and car in forward. You should get 48v

If not, you need to find out if you arent getting your positive voltage or if you arent getting your negative voltage. If you are getting that voltage and not hearing a click, replace the solenoid.

Before you replace a major component, I would suggest taking it to a dealer.
