Tire Chains

I have an '84 Club Car Electric.
I heat my house with wood.
I use the golf cart to pull a utility cart when I cut down dead trees for firewood.
I have agricultural tires on the rear.
Normally I can work in up to 3 or 4 inches of snow.
But we had freezing rain a few weeks ago and the cart just spins on the ice that is still under the snow.
I want to install tire chains.
Apparently only the passenger side wheel gets power,
so why put a chain on the other wheel?
Also steering is a problem.
How about chains on the front tires?

What about self drilling or self tappers in the treads of every tire. Alot easier and a better ride. plus you wouldnt have to take them off all the time. Mike

Ag tires on the front also, chains on the rear thats how the ice fishing guys do it.

Just mount dead weight on front of cart, or live wife to help with steering skid.

Both wheels spin on your golf car, they vary.. If you lift your driver side off the ground, and leave the passenger down, then the driver will spin. Reversing the process reverses the results. Whichever tire has the least amount of resistance will spin. If you put your chain on one side, you will increase resistance, and the other tire will become easier to spin, and spin, and spin.
