04 precedent slowly cranks when charging a dead battery
Im new to the forum and repairing golf carts. In our fleet, we have a dead cart that when I put a 12v 10 amp charge to it, the engine slowly cranked over but could not get the engine to run in maintenence... ANY help is appreciated!!!

Try a new battery. Sometimes a fully charged battery will fail under loads.

Re: 04 precedent slowly cranks when charging a dead battery
the engine is cranking over without the key on and the accelerator not depressed. As soon as I hooked up the charger the drive clutch started to slowly turn. when i took the charger off the battery it stopped. When I hooked the charger to the terminals, it sounded like there was a heavier load put on the charger and battery.
