is there anyway to test a CVP pot box on a 1996 Club Car DS

Listen for the click of the micro-switch inside. If it is working, next check the ohms from the potentiometer at Pins 2 (green) & 3 (yellow) at the controller.

In case you are wondering what the innards look like and what you should see. This is it. For some reason this one is purple and yellow (think maybe it is supposed to be Nole?).
Test yours at the controller of course. |
