Default 2019 EZGO Valor Gas EFI How to Improve Torque

I purchased a 2019 EZGO Valor gas EFI cart. The cart was lifted with larger (20”) tires. It struggles to climb a hill at our lake house, even with just me in the cart. When climbing, the cart does not seem to rev up as it slows (like it does when initially taking off). I can make it up the hill easily in my 2006 club car electric cart with 4 normal size people or two, large (I’m 6’4 300lbs). I have an old Yamaha G2 gas that makes it up the same hill with two large men.

I took to dealer and they increased the governor but still have same problem. I know I lose some if it’s climbing power with the larger wheels, but need to know if there is anything I can do to increase the torque on this cart to help it climb the hill as we go back and forth to the boat.

The dealer said it has the higher torque manufacturer clutch spring (?).

Cart has the Kawasaki 14 hp engine.

I am not a mechanic but would like to know if there is anything I can do (aftermarket modification, etc) to fix help improve the carts ability to pull the hill with some load on the cart.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You may want to check to make sure the throttle is opening all the way. With the key off, press the go pedal and make sure it is opening all the way up. May just need some adjustment.
