Default GCOR testing

When testing a GCOR, should the black and white leads have continuity with out the pedal being pushed?

The black and white wires are to the "normally open" microswitch (engine kill circuit) and should only have continuity when the pedal is pressed.

The green and orange wires are to the "normally closed" microswitch (engine start circuit) and will NOT have continuity when the pedal is pressed.

Just a quick follow up...
Reading what I posted may seem a$$ backwards, but that's how Club Car uses their micro's, a$$ backwards!
It works the same with the DS microswitches in the ECB!
