Default Insulated spade terminals

Still fixing the front and rear lighting wire mess the previous owner did... Can you say twisted wires with electrical black tape?

If I was going to run new wire to my lights, would insulated spade terminals work to make the connections? Something that actually has insulation over the male and female spade?

Is this a good way to do that so if I ever needed to change out the bulbs, I could just unplug the spade to remove the front lights assembly??

Thx

If running new wires to my front lights...

Front lights have the 55w fog bulb and a smaller amber light next to it.

What is better or does it matter?

1) running a single postive wire and a single black ground wire from the battery to the front of the cart and then split off to the light assemblies at the front of the cart?

2) run postive and negative wire for each light bulb from battery area to each light bulb at front of the cart? This would require running total of 8 wires front battery to front of the cart.

I would use 14 gauge wire...

Is one way better than the other or am I missing something?

Thx

#1 method works fine unless you plan on turn signals in the future.
