A Day Working on the Cart
Spent most of the day working on the golf cart. Installed a digital voltage meter, rear hitch, and cut my pieces for the rear rack. Enjoy and I'd say it was a productive day.
Rear rack is 24" x 36" and I will have a leg or two coming down to the bumper. After I test fit, I mitered the pieces using a chop saw. Didn't have any argon, so I couldn't weld it up. Angle is 1/4"x1-1/2" 6061. Rear hitch is 1/4"x1-1/2" flatbar and 3/8"x3" flatbar. Planning to make a bolt on receiver for it. Voltage meter is from Carts Unlimited and I have it wired direct to the battery bank. Was going to do keyed, but figured direct would be more accurate and the draw on the batteries is minuscule. |
