Default 2006 precedent no go at times

I have a 2006 precedent that at times either jerks and moves slow or will not go at all. Per Daves info I jumped the 2 wire plug at the MCOR and the cart ran so I replaced the MCOR2. The same issue is still there. If I run the cart on stands and slightly wiggle the yellow wire,#2 at the controller the cart will speed up,slow down or quit. I have tried to clean the terminals with no luck. As advise would be GREAT. THANKS

Sounds like maybe a bad connection at the yellow wire?

I repaired the yellow wire and now on jack stands the cart goes even when I wiggle the wire Now as you drive cart it runs fine for a while and then power cuts out for a brief time and then the cart takes off again. With my meter hooked to pack voltage when it cuts out the pack voltage goes up? I can not hear the solenoid clicking in-out but that what it seems like? Any ideas,Please

The cart has a Curtis 1510-5201 controller and the solenoid has been replaced but do not know when. The cart was just purchased and I know NO history.

I did the push test on the speed sensor and it passed.Next I checked the voltages at the speed sensor harness,black/red 15.4V black/green 5.04V. Next back probed the green wire, had voltages ranging from 1.04-4V but noticed if I would wiggle the wheel the wire would go open. I would think the sensor is bad???????

In the mean time I checked the ignition switch and one terminal broke right off. So I need a new switch but I jumped the wires and still get a intermintent open reading when checking the output of the green wire on the speed sensor. I am at a LOSS

The voltage on the Green wire at the Speed Sensor 3-pin connector comes from the Controller pin #14.

That voltage should go to near 0v as the wheel turns, is that what you were measuring?

Where was the meter negative probe, pack negative or the black wire at the 3-pin connector?

If the Speed sensor temporarily stops sending pulses the cart will slow down to limp mode speed but will recover as soon as the pulses return.

Do You have a working buzzer, does it sound when the cart slows down?

I can not answer if the buzzer sounds when it goes to limp mode because I just repaired the buzzer. I will reassemble the speed sensor and test. I back probed the green wire at the sensor and had the ground of the meter on pack negative.

I think the solenoid has a diode but not a resistor, could that be the issue?

If the resistor has been missing for a while then Yes, the Solenoid contacts could be damaged and creating a poor connection.
