Re: Anyone out there use there carts for hunting or fishing?
The hauler is used as a hunting rig alot. Me and dad can sit in the bed with lawnchairs side by side and we have a rack built that holds camo burlap and doubles as a rest.

Re: Anyone out there use there carts for hunting or fishing?
I'm restoring my old 87 Marathon to use for hunting. I just plan on using it to retrieve game. Since it's a stinky old 2 stroke, I probably won't drive it out where I hunt. It would probably scare all the deer away with the smell.

i think what alot of people dont understand is that a deer can hear a electric just as good as a gas. when hunting i would want a gas so when your driving through the woods during hunting season others dont shoot you because you were so quiet and though you were a deer

My biggest concern was the fact that they didn't put a seal back in the rear end for the shaft they added. The hole they drilled in the case was about 1/16" too big and it had oil running out of it. |

Re: Anyone out there use there carts for hunting or fishing?
just finished my first rebuild to hunt from. I think it came out great. increased motor from 3.2 hp to 11.4 hp. 588 amp controller, new hd coils, new #4 wiring, hd leaf springs, forward/reverse etc. The increase in torque was dramatic. Season here in alabama looks very good this year. We have gone 5 weeks of bow season and this will be our 3rd week of gun season. seeing many deer but no big ones yet. dan

Dan - do you have a 38' Topaz (the boat) or does the name have another meaning?
