Default My 02 EZGO Raptor project

Hey everybody, this is my second post on here. I've been reading about alot of your projects and am really impressed and inspired. This is my project. Its an 02 electric EZGO that I bought for absolutely no reason other than to have fun in. The batteries were junk and the electric was pretty well fried. So I am in the process of guting it and building a custom swing arm to mount my new power plant. It's an 01 raptor 660 motor. A good buddy of mine had it in his garage from a project he's in the middle of, an R1 motor in his raptor. So I have everything short of a frame and handle bars. I was also thinking about a Jakes independent A arm lift for it also. Take a look and tell me what you think.

Think? I don't think the milk crate will work as an engine cradel? OK - Jokes aside, it looks like you'll be busy this Winter

Im just waiting on parts and supplies to show up. Ive got the tubing for the swing arm, but the axle, bearings, and hub should be in today or early next week. Its killing me to walk out there and not be able to do anything with it yet.

some of the parts came in today, I got an axle and hub, but no bearings or locking collars. Im gonna start the swing arm this weekend if the weather holds out and I dont get called in to work.

Gotta make that project money.
