How many AMPS is a Gas Powered EZGO solenoid?
My solenoid blew, and I bought a new one, though the labeled 80 AMPS sounds a little low, considering my battery says that it has 700 cranking amps.

Does the new solenoid move parts that are related to the engine turning over?
Not sure about the amps, Is it a continuous duty solenoid for a golf cart or a walmart one for a car or something? |

Re: How many AMPS is a Gas Powered EZGO solenoid?
The batterie's rated 700 "AH" (Amp hour) is the starting capacity. The 700 doesn't have anything to do with the 80 amp rating on the solenoid. The solenoid is rated for 80 amps. Now wether that is a continuous rating is another question. Nice "manly" fingers you have. According to the picture thats a glow plug relay. Its not the same as a golf cart solenoid. Putting a bigger solenoid in place of the stocker isn't gonna do jack either.
