Wink a few battery questions

hey guys i have a 48 volt cushman commander 2100.I have a few questions regarding the batteries.what should the volt reading be just after charging? How low in voltage can I go before recharging? What is your feelings about the bubbling or boiling of the batteries during the charging?I was told 2 different things about that. Some one said it was bad. someone said it is actually good because it moves the electolytes around and gets it off the bottom of battery giving it a more even charge. Thanks for you help Mike
