2003 EZGO 36V TXT Series Cart

First things first, ScottyB of Carts Unlimited is the man. I ordered a bunch of upgrades for my cart and he was amazing at fielding some 4-5 phone calls yesterday to walk me through to the finish line. Thanks, ScottyB!

Next, the cart. Maybe I should have another cart because I want this cart go a little faster.

Specs:
2003 EZGO 36V TXT Series Cart
Stock Original Motor
6 Brand New 6V Batteries
Brand New 4ga Cables
New Alltrax 400a NPX Controller (from ScottyB)
New Solenoid (from ScottyB)
New HD F/R (from ScottyB)

After the ScottyB upgrades, I saw about a 20% increase in overall performance. Even my 5 year old noticed. So that's awesome. Especially for the price.

Right now, fully charged, I can't get it over 16mph on the flat. Is there anything left to do to this cart to give it some more power?

There's a used GE "Beast" motor for sale locally for $350. Model number 5BC49JB1132. Would this do the trick?

The "beast" motor you're referring to would actually make your cart go slower, but add more torque. It only turns 1600 rpms. The stock motor turns around 2500 rpms. I'm sure after reading through the forum that you realize in a series cart speed/torque is a trade off. If you are not planning on lifting your cart or putting over sized wheels on it then you could get a high speed motor, I have the "raptor" motor in my cart and when I was still at 36v it would run about 24mph.
