Tires & Rims
Trying to plan ahead, i have 2004 CC Precedent getting close to buying 6"
lift kit. A couple of questions i have is, this cart is for pavemant and grass mostly which type of lift will give me the best ride.( 4 passenger cart) Secondly do people ever run taller tire 23x10x12 on the back and 20x10x10 on the front,can this cause any problems if done. And last how about running differ offsets front to back so you don't need the spacer kits. I have the clutch ready to ship to Tom plan to machine, install spring and get timing key have no plans to big block this. maybe shave head later on. Haven't seen a lot of talk about this and didn't know how it would look or perform. I kind of like the raked look in front and the wider stance in the back. Kind of stuck in the pass i guess. Re: Tires & Rims
speaking of ezgo's (this is what i have, this is what i know), you're ride is not going to be much different that what it is now, you'll just be up higher.... that is, unless you want to shell out some cash and get a long travel suspension (look it up).
these things weren't designed to go baja'ing, they were meant to drive on a gold course. so, if your intentions are to spend a couple hundred bucks on a lift, you're going to be sorely disappointed that you're still riding rougher than a popcorn fart. i've got an LA Concepts lift, pretty standard design. it's a 5" drop axle lift. uses the same springs, the same shocks as before, just puts the spindles 5" lower. my rear axle was taken out and put underneath the rear springs, instead of on top of them, evening out the lift front to rear. same thing here, same shocks/springs. as far as tires, you can do whatever you want, just be careful they're not too tall or too wide that they'll rub or catch. the front lifts usually are a bit wider than your stock, so your front will stick out the wells a bit more than the rears will. doesn't look bad, but is helpful with larger tires, so they don't rub/catch do some research and lookin around here. this is a pretty common question, and i think you'll find all the answers to all your questions |

Re: Tires & Rims
let me rephrase that.....
that axle was taken out, the springs were taken of and repositioned on top of the axle. don't take your axle out, instead of moving your springs. a lot more work lol |

Re: Tires & Rims
Thanks for the info. was thinking the tires i get would help the ride a lor. Will be used on pavement mostly, may be on grass some. I was just looking for the best ride that i can afford before i retire and things get tighter.
