Default New rims, tiny tires, same problem!

I just bought this golf cart and it’s too tall to fit into my garage.. so I bought some smaller turf tires and wheels (original measured 25” and new ones are 18”). Needless to say, I hate the way it looks AND it still doesn’t fit in the garage!

1. What size tires would you recommend for these 14” rims?
-want them taller and wider to fill space
-need to be turf friendly tires

2. What’s the best way to lower the cart to fit in the garage?
-take to fabrication shop and chop roof supports
- buy lowering hinges for roof

Before and after pics attached (it’s in my friends shop)

Your second option will probably be the easiest and cheapest. Your frame does not look original and stretched, along with a monster lift with 25” tires.

First, you have to be aware that if you lower your roof.....you must take into consideration how tall you and your passenger's are or will be. Lower it to much and your driving with a crooked neck.

Years ago when I wanted to make my roof removable, I simply cut the metal roof post, and then cut a piece of solid metal that fit inside, and bolted one end in the pipe that was attached to the cart, and the other end I used a quick removing pin.

Keep in mind your solid metal insert needs to be a snug fit or your gonna have squeaks.

Here's a pic of what I did. I hope this helps.
