Default Electrical g1

Is here anywhere on the ignition swith where i can pick up 12vdc for assesories only when the ignition switch is in the forward or reverse position. Im trying to hook up an gas guage and only want it on when the cart is on. Thanks

flop 2 wires on the iggy switch, use back up buzzer power now live +12v in forward

The white wire with a red stripe @ the ignition switch has 12v only in FWD. It provides power to the magneto and CDI.

I think the issue is that everything will turn off when the accelerator isn't down, right? If you have lights or a radio or something, they will turn off when you aren't on the gas. The gas gauge would work when the cart is motion but not otherwise. That might actually be ok but it would look a little odd.

12V is avail. at the back-up buzzer in reverse only
I swapped 2 wires on the iggy switch for forward only, and use the buzzer power for gages in forwards
