Default Jakes sport shifter

I am thinking about putting a jakes sport shifter on my g16. But I notice the stock lever is under my right leg. Does the jakes shifter move it a little to the right or is it just in the way rubbing your leg

I've not had any issues with mine being in the way. I did make a different shift knob to raise that up about 4 inches.

We use the stock shifter location but we put a slight bend in the shifter shaft so it gives you the extra leg room as shown.

I put one in my G16....very nice improvement.

That being said, I have a couple little "gripes". The top plate is engraved largely with "Jakes". I'd rather it wasn't...but that's personal. The inside of the actual shifter "gate" isn't smooth and scratches the actual shifter arm when in use. Minor little issues...I'd still install another.

Will this shifter work on a G9?

Take the top plate off, flip it over, and polish the other side. Just a thought.
