Default New heavy duty leaf springs

Hello, I am installing new heavy duty leaf springs on my 2010 Club Car DS. I seen a video for installation on a Club Car President and the mechanic said that he was not going to be putting the rear shocks back on the cart. That they were not necessary with the new leaf springs. This seems a bit strange to me any suggestions would be helpful. The new leafs are Dual Action if that makes a difference. As life some times goes, I just installed the shocks 3 months ago, smh :)

I would keep the shocks, they do help with dampening.

That's because the new springs are so stiff, there is very little jounce so dampeners are not really needed. Basically, the springs are so **** stiff, they don't move!

The heavy duty leaf springs are ridiculously stiff.

Are the dual action springs any better?

I've got dual actions on mine with the dampeners. It is noticeably stiffer but I find they took the roll out of the cart and control feels better. The cart barely squats with four people in it. Personally, I think they're great. JMO
