Rvx rear end differential
Hello,, it's time for me to change the oil in my 2010 rxv differential,, i know were is the drain plug,,. But i don't know where to fill the new oil,, any inputs will be apreciated

1- the rubber plug will not allow All the fluid to drain, i suggest removing the pan.
2- some axles have a fill plug about half way up the front side of the axle, some dont. For a axle without a fill plug, i suggest removing a axle shaft and pouring the fluid in there. (this solution sucks, but you wont be able to get 710cc in through the rubber plug). 3- you can use most typical gear lubes 85w-XX, be sure it has friction modifier in it for posi differentials, or add your own. |
