Specific to my 2015 Yamaha Drive: It appears the Yamaha Controller Serial No is 41142j012 with PTV Speed Code 550055. The other Yamaha Model No shown is Motor Control Unit Assy JW2-H6510-01 made by Moric. And the DC motor has Model No. DM430-06C made by Changsha Hitachi Automotive Products. The Yamaha Part number for the motor assy is JC1-H1890-00-00.

Can you elaborate some on the warning against Roypow? Thanks.

I did some discharge current testing on my Cushman when I was considering going to Lithium. See more information on this link:

https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/show...39&postcount=9

After performing this testing, I installed an on dash amperage meter, so I can see my live amperage draws and will use that information to determine maximum continuous amperage, 30 second amperage and 2 second amperage requirements for if / when I go to lithium.

Thanks for the info. I will try to get a hold of a clamp style amp meter and perform some actual tests. I also read on another forum that the stock motor and controller wouldn't be capable of pulling too many amps. From your info and the info below, it seems like my 2015 YDRE OEM config. will be safe within the Trojan OnePack specs to not trip the battery on hills while golfing. Maximum Continuous Discharge Current 180A, Maximum Pulse Discharge Current (30 sec) 300A, Maximum Instantaneous Discharge Current (2 sec) 500A.

"Jw2-h6510 tells me that you have a fleet DC model with a controller that can draw less than 300a , 275a would be tops (and even that won't happen). But, what people don't understand with those stock controllers, is that they won't even draw that load for more than a second, or two at best when you "floor it" against an immovable object. Most of the stock parts are "wimpy", because they were designed "bottom dollar" to make a golf course at low speeds, and make the lease/warranty, and that's all"

If you are going to use a clamp on amp meter, make sure it is for DC current. An AC current amp meter will not work on your golf cart DC circuit.

Any particular reason you're only looking at the Trojan lithium OnePack? Eco has a drop-in for your cart with a competitive price, longer warranty and a great reputation for customer service and reliability. Bolt Energy is another reliable option with a 10 year warranty and bluetooth.

Weak BMS used...I have had 2 burn up (fail). They are not easy to deal with for warranty claims. My dealer discontinued handling their products because of it.

I'm looking at other options as well. Eco is one that I can get locally. No one local is selling Bolt Energy. I can get Trojan and Eco right now and have them installed. Although, I will probably do the install myself. I would like to be able to drive over to the dealer I bought it from rather than online just in case a problem should occur. I've been able to read many reviews of Eco Batteries on this forum and others which is helpful. However, that is way I am asking more specific about Trojan OnePack, because I haven't found many actual owner review/feedback yet other than the OnePack going up Pikes Peak. I would like to look at all my available options locally. So far, I've found Eco, Trojan, and Allied being sold here. Thanks for the info.

Thanks. Good Point. I probably would have forgot to ask my brother in law for DC Amp meter.
