![]() Hi Guys, I run a golf shop in Paraguay, south america that currently buys out of lease carts from the US and sells them here. Usually the batteries come already death when they arrive so I switch to litihum. I have imported 105 ah 48v ROYPOW batteries and they run great on the carts, it just adds them to much cost. I was wondering if someone has a any inputs or feedbacks wether the carts will still run great on 65 ah 48v roypow batteries? The carts are used only for golfing.
Here are the 2 technical sheets. 65 ah, https://www.roypow.com/lifepo4-golf-...s5156-product/ 105 ah, https://www.roypow.com/lifepo4-golf-...1105l-product/ |

![]() On a stock cart in a use case where their is not steep hills will be just fine. Just obviously less range than the 105ah pack.
The other difference is the max and continuous discharge current. The 65ah will have less of each. This is why I said and will stress again STOCK carts will be fine. Ones that are modded could struggle. |

![]() I can not speculate for sure. If it helps I have a 60ah pack of a different brand and for my use case of work I can get a week out of a charge running around our huge facility.

![]() I think you'll want to test this out, a 60ah capacity could run into issues on hills. 1) it might shutdown if you try to go up the hill from a stop at full speed because of the current being drawn. 2) if you fully charged the battery, like most people do, going down a hill might produce too much regen current that would overcharge the battery, again resulting in a shutdown.
Just pointing out the obvious, but you should get those lead acids removed prior to shipping the carts. Save $ on freight. |

![]() you are def right! only issue with testing is that the batteries come out from china, so almost 90 days transit! But will do that anyways. Will get the 105 AH and a pair of 65 ah to try out.
As we import full containers we pretty much pay for the space, not the weight. |
