![]() Hi, new to golf carts and I love this forum - I've learned so much from reading here!
During covid, I picked up a 1992 Yamaha G9 36v electric that ran fine but had old lead acid batteries. So, I've since taken the cart apart down to the frame, cleaned off all the rust/corrosion and repainted anything metal. It's ready for a new battery setup and I'm figuring out what to use for a 48v lithium conversion. Here's what I'm thinking:
Anyone see problems with this setup meeting our needs? |

My cart is self charging with the solar roof so I dont use a plug in charger on it. solenoid and resistor/diode need to be changed as well as the controller for 48v.. the motor is fine I used the stock motor for all 3 voltages with no issues. speed dramatically increased. |
