![]() Hello All, I was gifted this cart and want to change the rear seat. I am having trouble finding a similar post. This rear seat looks to have gotten rid of the OEM sweater basket and has brackets that also hold the front seat backs incorporated with the rear seat mounting. So if I remove back seat , the front seat backs go with it. I have never seen this back seat. I am curious if I will need to go back with the original roof supports and triangle supports or if there is a more updated seat that can be used that will support the front backs? I am new to CC's and most all the online stores do not show very much detail on the seat bracketry.

![]() I'm not an expert, but I think most rear seat kits will come with rear roof struts and the bracket to hold the front seatback. I recently installed a Rhox seat kit. I did not re-use my original roof struts or seatback.
Post which seat kit you are looking to buy. I'm thinking it will come with everything you need to support the roof and the front seat back. |

![]() On a quick search, I don't see the installation instructions for that seat kit. It does look like it uses the OEM roof struts and seat back bracket. There are plenty of options out there that supply roof struts.
This one is very similar, but it is out of stock on the site you posted. The instructions show the struts and seat bracket. link From another site sponsor, the MadJax genesis may be an option. link (golf cart stuff) There are a ton of options out there, but I only just looked at the site sponsor sites. |

![]() Thanks for feedback, I will need to see what brackets are with this seat I purchased. If it is similar to the MadJax with that triangle bracket I think I can figure a way to make it work.

![]() Go to the Steeleng site. Tell them your model and year and your current seat color and they will give yuo the kit number & price. They use the original struts and sweater basket. There are a few installs on line. Look at the one that he installed it for his wife. Very good video.
