For campground use I'd just make sure to have it in tip top running shape, good belt and clutches, and HD rear springs if you carry big people in the back Of course make sure your brakes are working well.

Thank you. Yes all is new, but will need a heavy duty rear spring. are these a "get what ypu pay for" or are less expensive Amazon varieties capable?

Did you take a close look at both clutches faces for any grooves ? As well as the ramps and shoes on the secondary ?

I think the secondary clutch springs are more for off road, climing hills or plowing snow, cruising around at 15 mph in a campground would not really benefit from a heavier spring IMO. I've used a few of them. The cheap white spring is way too stiff, stay away from that one. I have used the Red Plowman's spring and it was good. Others have used the Umax spring with good reports, it's the Yamaha utility cart. Basically a heavier secondary clutch spring keeps the cart in "low gear" for longer, delays upshift, so it will rev higher and accelerate slower most times, except when fully loaded or going uphill, that's when the spring will help.

If you want more power, look to a clone engine swap or a vtwin swap There are some mods you can do to that Yamaha engine, check with Plowman's Carts, Don Plowman is the Yamaha expert.
