Test to see if I get auto-banned, again...

A few months ago I signed up to this forum, and upon making my first post I was permanently banned, the reason given was that I was a spammer.

I have been on forums since the '90s and have never, ever been banned, or even suspended from any type of group. So this came as quite a surprise. Of course, I am definitely NOT a spammer.

I attempted to contact an admin, but nothing became of that. I created another account using a different email, and... banned again.

This is my third try. Maybe it'll work...

Well? I'm sorry that that happened to you, and welcome to BGW!

I hope that you understand that this forum has been on-line for a good 18 years,
And (as most forums do) can get pounded with spammers from time to time,
Just last year, BGW got hit REALLY HARD with spammers to the point of almost shutting it down,
so there were dozens and dozens of email domains that had to be added to the spam list.

That being said...

I see that you're legit with your posts in the lithium CC forum!

Out of curiosity... I checked your IP address in BGW's data base to try to see what might have happened and found another username with your same IP,
EarlT... (pretty common spammer username) Joined, had one really weird post, and the last activity all on the same day in 2020.

I have no doubt that it's not you, so I banned that one to make sure you don't get flagged and banned for having 2 usernames!

We try our hardest to keep a tight, clean ship for our members and guests to get the help they need with their golf cars.

Well, that makes some sense. EarlT would be what my dad uses. We're in separate houses but on the same property. The axle broke on his Hyundai golf cart and we were having a hard time finding a replacement. I ended up buying one off Amazon that had the right spline on one end but not the other. I cut them, turned them down, then welded them back together using a sleeve. So far so good.
