Default Comet 780 or 94c

Well i ordered the tapered clutch adapter from cpp but I don't like the idea of cutting the crank and possible shifting issues. So I'm going to send it back. I have found a couple clutches and need some opinions. A comet 780 or 94c duster. Anybody have any opinions on these? Using a HF 13 horse in a g9. Will I have to cut the crank with either one of these?

Either one would be fine in my opinion. The 94C might be cheaper and a little easier to find in a 1" bore than a 780, plus it is a little smaller so it fit's in tight spaces. No cutting needed, just spacers.

Can't find a 780 or 94c anywhere. Just a few bucks away from the cvtech.

Yeah I kind of want to avoid the CVTech. My dads friend has one on a Vanguard (24hp I think) and hes had a lot of issues with it.

That sucks. Seeing as it seems to be the only one out there!

I have 2 CVTech clutches, both perform great. One has 5 plus years on a 18 hp vanguard.

Do you know if it was set up for a four cycle motor? They have had very good reviews around here!
