Default Yamaha The Drive carb power build up

We sold the electric cart and bought a 2007 Yamaha Drive gas. Hard to believe we ever tried to go with electric carts with the hills in N. Ga. We did some buildup on the new cart, adding a 6" jakes lift, 12" wheels with 22" AT tires, rear seat, heavy duty rear springs. With the governor cranked down it has much better top speed than the G22E with the big amp controller.

Ordered the CPP speed spring and rear driven clutch torque kit. Really easy to install the new stiffer torque spring, no clutch puller needed, just compressed the spring all the way down with the vise, wired it tight, installed and removed the wires. Q

Question is: will the carb jet kit from CPP that fits the G22, fit the Drive (people say here it prolly will) and is it worth doing? Or will it make it backfire?

Wife vetoed any kind of muffler kit because of the noise

G22 jet kit fits fine. Did the torque spring, jet, airbox mod, speed spring cranked all the way down. Better power but takes longer to get to top speed, which is fine since we are mostly going 0-18 MPH anyway
