Deep well for club bags
We have a 2013 EZGO RXV with a Jakes lift. My wife and I are under 5' 5" and we can't see the numbers on the clubs. Seems like a simple retrofit of a lower bag well to drop the bags about 4-6" would be ideal. Does anyone have any ideas?
Looks like the existing could be cut out to drop the bags to the desired depth with some underlying supports bolted in supporting the bags. |

My opinion is that if you want to do it right and not compromise the strength of the body you would need to glass it in after dropping the bottom out. You are really only limited by your skills and imagination but that section is a big part of the body's rigidity.

How about a rear seat kit that supports your bags on the rear step. That would make them Sit lower?

Might design a step to hang there to help you see and reach your clubs , I'm over 6' and still it's a reach to access the clubs from the ground.

Might want to go back to a standard height cart, that'll solve the problem. If not, yes, some custom body work with some welding is in order. If you have the skills, go for it.

Ill try to be more helpful than slonomo, but thatll be tough
Maybe use these: https://www.linkitgolf.com/product/the-link Otherwise, maybe find some sort of heavy duty tote(s) with a nice lip and a sort of tapered overall height.... cut hole(s), and insert the tote so the lip holds them tight into the holes...enjoy. |
