How to fit longer shocks? 2016 RXV
I’ve got a 2016 AC RXV with a Navitas 600A controller, that’s got 14” wheels and 20.5” tires (205/40R14). It currently has bayonet style rear shocks. Top speed is set to 27mph right now, which is plenty for our uses.
The suspension is currently stock, and it handles like garbage and stinks over bumps or when fully loaded. I have a set of FOX Float 3 ATV shocks I’d like to run in the rear, but they are slightly too long to fit. I’d like to do something like the MadJax 6” lift (which would also let me run my second set of shocks up front), but from what I can tell that kit keeps the stock rear shocks. Does anyone make a lift-leaf spring or anything that might let me run a shock that’s ~3” longer than stock? Any other ideas? Also, does anyone happen to make a sway bar kit for the RXV? That would help quite a bit, I think. Thanks! |
