Possible Upgrade
I found a 13hp "Sterling Engine" on eBay for an irresistable price, has anyone else put in a similar "Chinese Honda?" And if so, how does it run and all that? I will probably put my ever-strong FE290 in the camouflage cart. Even if this engine only lasted 2 years, it would be worth my money, BUT on the other side of the fence, it could last just like the Kawasakis or Hondas ( ) do.

I don't know anybody with one, but somebody should try one and run the
crap out of it. I think a lot of people are waiting for someone to go first. |

Is this the one you are looking at NONO? You need electric start.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-1...mZ270085160471 Here buy this and tell me how you like the diesel. I want one but it will probably be slow as heck. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-10-HP-10HP-D...QQcmdZViewItem |

I'm looking at the 13hp electric start gas engine. And 3,600 is getting up there for a small diesel. That thing would probably torque up anything but be slooooooow. Plus I would like to keep my pedal start, no way with a diesel could I do that. AND, diesels like to keep relatively stable RPMs, you would have to be alternating them all the time with that which would slightly shorten the life of it. Otherwise a very cool idea.
