Default Appraise my 1986 Yamaha G2 gassers value?

Just wondering what a good price I should accept for this cart would be?
1986 Yamaha G2 gasser. Runs like a champ. Well maintained. Garage kept. All stock. Zero problems.

Sounds fair. I’m prejudiced towards G2s. Paid that for an ‘87 in similar condition, from a dealer, delivered, about 10 years ago. Paid $1800 for a little rougher ‘86 from a private party maybe 5 years past. A lot seems to depend on where you are. My 2cents.

Very difficult to evaluate a cart just from photos. With that said, both prices are in the right range for something in original "worn/used" condition. Right now golf cart prices are way up in my area, supply is down, seems everyone wanted a cart this year.

For that model/year I'd give this evaluation for a stock cart:

1. Excellent condition, no issues, no repairs needed, super clean $2800
2. Good condition, some wear and tear, no repairs needed, clean $2500
3. Good condition, some wear and tear, minor repairs needed $2000
4. Fair condition, normal wear and tear, some repairs needed $1600
5. Fair condition, wear, some damage, repairs needed $1200 or less
6. Anything not running and driving or missing parts $500 or less
7. Add $$ for aftermarket equipment or custom parts
8. Deduct $$ for rust or missing parts or body damage

I've been buying and selling golf carts for a long time and this formula has kept me from getting upside down on most deals. This really only applies to Models 10 plus year old and gas engine, golf cart models only.

My last G2 was an 89 and great condition, needed nothing. I sold it for $1400

Condition is definitely relevant but also keep in mind it’s still 35 years old. Despite the inflated prices I still regularly see mid 2000’s gas carts for around $2500-3k. Truth is there just isn’t a lot of demand for mid 80’s golf carts so they don’t fetch the premiums the newer more modern models do

In addition to that, the price is also heavily influenced on region and area. Nobody has a clue where you live. And it’s getting to be winter time/off season so cart values tend to go down this time of year in most of the country unless you live in Florida or somewhere like that full of old folks and no winter. “Off season” isn’t as affected down there.
