Unhappy Alltrax SR48400 code Throttle range error

I finally got the computer hooked up to my 48VDC club car DC. with an Alltrax SR48400. I'm getting a Throttle range error with low battery. I am charging batteries now. I got this cart with no wires and have gone off the Alltrax diagram to wire everything back to their specks. please help.

Thank you

We need to first determine, what type of throttle does the cart have?
V-glide multi-step pot?
Pot box under the floor?
MCOR?
PB6?
Then need to make sure the alltrax is set properly.

You may have already don’t this, but call Alltrax and go through the entire setup process with them. They’ll tell you the proper ranges. It could just be a programming issue.

Then depending how you have the wires hooked up at the V-glide and at controller it will either be a 0-5k or a 5k-0 throttle.
Make sure you have the rear wheels of the cart off the ground for testing. Set the throttle type to one of those in the toolkit and see how it responds.

Since your main error is throttle range, have you tried clearing Throttle Auto Cal in the toolkit and let the controller reset the range of the throttle. Best to raise rear wheels, and then go from stop to full throttle so the controller can reset the range. Just mash the throttle to full and let off, so you don't run motor up to speed under no load. Then test drive. 2 Cents worth

it turned out to be the solenoid was not open all the way. got a HD and started to work 2 days ago. thanks for the trouble shooting with alltrax. Now i think I need new batteries. I get great speed and torque for a about 30 min on a full charge. then they start to die out voltage will drop to 32 volts going up the hill then back to 47 when going down a hill. It is also taking over 12 hours to charge. I'm using stock charger with Powertrorn P8000. I have checked the connections and used dielectric grease. using 48 step down transformers so I dont pull too much off one cell.
tested each battery 8.26 to 8.29 VDC. maybe need bigger cables or battery is just not holding amps.....

Those batteries are about toast. Dropping to anything under 40v under load is really hard on the batteries and electronics. Lower voltage means higher amp draw and will cause stuff to burn out. Can also cause battery cables or terminals to overheat and burn.
Should have about 8.49v per battery on a full charge.
Total pack voltage should be 50.9 or better, 12 hours rest after a full charge.
Use an SOC chart and don't run the pack below 50% SOC voltage to get the best lifespan from new batteries.
