Re: 4x4 conversion kit
Are you talking about a cart kit that is an actual 4x4? Or are you asking about a 4 wheeler that will fit best under a cart that has been cut up? Also, what kind of cart do you have, or are you looking at?

Monkey-1 that is what I have been looking for. I have a 05 EzGo. Looks like it will work perfectly.

If your gonna use that kit, please post pics and a review. My interests are peaked now. this might be how my next cart goes. Maybe.

Re: 4x4 conversion kit
I want a stealth or a bad boy buggy, but dang I just cant see spending $11,000 on a cart. If I do this and change over to 48 volt that should be the same thing for a fraction of the price.

Re: 4x4 conversion kit
I sent them an email last night & got this response this morning:
The kits are deigned for 1996 and newer golf cars. I know many of these kits have been installed on older golf cars with little or no changes required. What we need is your center rear axle section and disassemble it and install a new shaft. We send the reworked gearbox back to you (plus the other kit parts) and you install everything. The kit cost $1950 and it takes us between two and four weeks to rework the gearbox. Let me know how we can help further. Are going to use the stock motor or an aftermarket motor? We offer a muffler relocation kit for the stock engine. We have a 2001 EZGO here completed finished with 4x4 kit. The first one we made and it is for sale for $4000. Thank you, Scott |

Re: 4x4 conversion kit
That email sounds like that would be for a gas cart. I want to do batt. one. The kit on the site looks like a very easy install on a battery powered cart.
