Re: My Club Car JerkS WHY
ahhhhh.... your governor is set higher then your rev limiter...
You have 2 ways to fix it... (but... you have to do one, or the other!) 1) reset your governor to a lower rpm Or... 2) disconnect your limiter ground (but, make sure your rpm's are less then 4200 max) do either, or... but, don't keep "bouncing" off of the limiter, that'll cause some engine damage! |

Re: My Club Car JerkS WHY
How did I know that was coming!!!
First off... you do realize that removing the limiter ground, and reving your engine over 4300rpm's for extended periods will blow your engine right? With that said... On the lower front of your engine... (just above your oil drain) there is a box, with a wire that comes out of it, and has an eye loop connected to the left mounting bolt of the box. remove the bolt, and eye loop, reinstall the bolt without the eye loop, and, tape the eye up with electrical tape, and just let hang. NOTE: 1) Do not cut the wire! (just remove it from the bolt for future use) 2) You have to hook up a tach and make sure you don't run over 4200 rpm's... if it runs higher then that...your engine will blow, so... reset your governor! I've got a bad... BAD feeling about this! You do so at your own risk. No one here or anywhere else is reponsible if you blow your golf cart engine up. |

Re: My Club Car JerkS WHY
Just a suggestion...
Get your cart to a CC dealer, or a golf cart shop and have them totally check it out! at least you'll have an idea of where to start! |
