70s Noland 6 seater HELP
Hey everyone. first post here. this summer I picked up this Nolan golf cart. Never owning one before I thought this cart was very interesting and stuck out from the rest. It rode great for about a day and then it just died. So I started with three new 12 v batteries. Still nothing. I then got the older Curtis controller rebuilt and was hoping this was the issue, but still no luck. I then replaced the solenoid, but didn't pay attention when I pulled the diodes off. I tested the diodes found out both were bad, so I ordered new ones. I tried seeing if the cart would move again without the diodes and new solenoid, but still no luck. I have 36 v on all posts of the controller. The only thing left I can replace is the F/R switch. Before I burn this cart to the ground is there anything stupid I could be missing or overlooking. Ill post some pics of stuff, but for now here is the list of new.

Re: 70s Noland 6 seater HELP
1. What is the battery pack voltage?
2. Does the solenoid click why you try to go? 3. Can you test the throttle signal? |

Re: 70s Noland 6 seater HELP
You may want to pop that motor off and make sure that it's ok. You can do so by adding a jumper wire between A2 and F2. Then add + from a 12v battery to A1 and - to F1. Reversing the polarity will reverse the spin of the motor of course. If it spins in both directions then you are good. If not your motor needs servicing, probably some new brushes.
