Cleaning engine compartment?
I'm looking at cleaning out my engine compartment but i'm not sure if i can get things wet? What is the best way to clean out the compartment?

...not sure what the best method is, but I used 'Gunk' standard engine cleaner and a water hose. The instructions tell you to avoid electrical connection contact with the product. I sprayed all my electrical stuff (FR switch, voltage reg.,solenoid, carb, covered air cleaner,etc.) with WD 40 prior to performing the whole exercise.

take it to the car wash and wash it on the trailer just be sure and let it dry before trying to drive it , it may also help to disconnect the battery first
