What would be involved in replacing 295 Robin with 13hp Kawasaki?
I've got a 2005 TXT with the 295 Robin motor in it. I may have access to a 13hp Kawasaki out of a new ST.
What would be involved in putting the Kawi in? What parts would have to vbe replaced? Thanks in advance. |

Switching the clutch to the other side would likely be cost prohibitive. Take the "free" motor and sell it. You should make more than enough money to buy a Briggs V-Twin and clutch. Here's mine...

Yes you could but then you would have to change the FNR switch, the brake cables and build all new mounting points for it all. Best would to seriously sell the other engine and put it towards something that is more bolt in.

Could he not just put it in with the clutch on the correct side and have reverse be forward and forward be reverse? I don't know about these new rearends but it makes cents in my head.
