2002 Club Car DS - Converting to 48V-Charging Port ?
I have purchased the Lester Summit II 1050w charger with the crowsfoot cord. I took the charge port off to clean it up and I see there is a fuse. According to instructions I received (from Scottyb's thread on SS conversion), I will run the wire from the port to the + battery terminal, and the same for the negative wire, to the end of the chain, negative. However, the question is do I need a fuse on the positive wire? if so what amp fuse?

Re: 2002 Club Car DS - Converting to 48V-Charging Port ?
We did a 48V upgrade from 36V. We kept the same crows foot charging port and we ran the same wires that you're describing. We did away with the fuse and have had zero charging and running issues.
