Re: Replacement Top
There are only two different roofs for DS's that I know of,
From 85 to 2000, they're flatter w/ribs and have aluminum supports, (old style) 2000.5 to 2010 DS's have a domed roof, w/black supports. (new style) It's kinda' how I can tell the year of them from a distance... however, my 2007 has the old style roof, (but, it, in itself, is a slightly different animal) It's to my understanding that either roof will fit on any year cart, as long as you have the proper supports for it! It looks to me that the previous owner of your cart used whatever rear supports that would work with your box! Here's a couple pics... old style roof, and new style roof! |

Re: Replacement Top
Ok, do you have a serial number to verify the year? It should be under the dash on a metal tag. I think DS production began in 82. Since its a DS, either style old or new will fit, but you must use new supports with new roof style and vice versa

Re: Replacement Top
No serial number, Not sure of the year. The rear supports came with the box. I need to figure out the correct combination Roof - Front support & Back supports
Thank you |
