94 medalist, no low end power
I have a 94 medalist which will barley move on flat ground. When the wheels are raised it will start very slowly and in a few seconds start accelerating until finally the clutches have fully travled. I have set all valves at .005, checked the air filter, installed new plugs, checked compression (130 psi both), and sprayed carb cleaner in carb. The compression check was only performed prior to adjusting valves. 2 valves were as much as .014. When we removed the airbox lid, there was a puddle of fuel in the air box. To me it appears that it is running extremly rich and takes a little bit to "clean out" Unfortunately it never comes up to speed with the wheels on the ground.
Any ideas what to test/replace next? Thank you |

Re: 94 medalist, no low end power
130 is pretty low for a 4 stroke motor.
