electric cart new be
hello i have had a 88 2 cyle ezgo for about 2 years and it has run its course. trading for a 08 ezgo electric. first time with an electric cart. i will need some help on how to maintenance the cart to keep it running correctly. have talk with dave on the gas side about going electric and he said to talk to you guys about any questions. will the electric go in rough terrain and up hills. how is it in dusty contions. and wet contions. will it go where a gas cart will or do you need to stay on roads and smooth surfaces.

Re: electric cart new be
Stock. Right out of the box... the gas cart will go some places the electric cart can not. The electric cart is considerably heavier and is limited by the state of charge or available amperage.
Properly modified it can go nearly anyplace a gas cart goes. The single most important thing is a set of properly sized and maintained batteries. The second thing is a properly sized amperage delivery system. And third a properly rated motor for the job at hand. Enjoy and good luck with the cart. |
