Ok this is for a electric, but you need to put the axle below the springs for your lift to be correct.

Ok so you see I did not put the axle on the bottom of the spring it is in the original stock postion (inside) as per the pic. These HD springs have lifted the rear but still need 2 inches for it to be level . The rear has these large housings that the U bolts fit through. So how would you put the axle on the under side of the springs as these housings are in the way ??
By the way thanks for the help guys!!!
just flip the housing, I did this last spring. You may have to cut the pin on the axel as well. We did it with a sawzall. leave about 1/4 to 1/2" of the pin, the leaf will set right over it.
You'll end up using the same U-bolts that are on it now unless you use the blocks.
Set the cart down with the axel under the springs and measure it, you may not need the blocks to get it level.

OK you confuse me when you say Flip the House. What are those round housing for are they just to hold some rubber to cut down on vibration?
Take the thing a part. Do I discard those houses and rubber? Ok I have to cut that pin off the top of the axle flush as my HD springs have a bolt in the middle center to hold them together. Where would the shock plate go ? On the top right ?
Would you know what kind of travel the center engine pivot has >

I am! I need to fly home tomorrow

Be real careful when you torque those bolts on those castings, they like to crack.

You will need blocks for a place to except the axle pins and the pins on the springs, to keep everything in place.

You will also have to trim the rubber grommets to clear the pins, when you flip the brackets and use an extra set of shock plates.

That or just go with the longer shackles if it will get you high enough, looks like hell though.

Myself? .. I would flip it, use blocks, go with the stock springs for a better ride and the right height. (*if no back seat)
