Default 2002 PDS Front Suspension

Front end on my cart has play in it, can move the steering wheel a little either way without affecting direction of tires. Also if I hit bump steering will pull or jump. Any ideas am off work tomorrow and going to pull front cover to look for anything with play.

Thanks in advance, Bryan

I would check intermediate shaft and tie rods first.

Rack and pinion could be worn out. I just replaced one for a friend, wasn't too hard to do.

When I say play I only me a very small amount. The problem that I need help with is that when driving the cart. If I hit a bump or low spot. Cart will dive off in the direction of problem in road.

I checked all parts on front suspension and everything tight. No Play. Only thing noticed was that shock bushings are dried and cracked. How would I know if a shock is bad.

Thanks, Bryan

check the alignment of the frt wheels. If its out of alignment when you hit bumps it will dart.

Also check your kingpin bushings. they are prone to wear and cause issues.
