Re: Using a voltage reducer to charge added 12v accessory battery.?.?.?
To me a lot of effort to run accessories ,just put a auxillary 12 volt marine battery to run your accessories .. Then use separate 12 volt charger ( not that expensive) That way you have nothing draining your battery pack plug in charger when you plug in cart charger. .. Get rid of converter sell it on e- bay

The price difference is minimal, the wiring "hassle" might exist, having no lights to go home because 12v didnt get charged (nooo, i'll never forget)... Priceless! The decent convertors draw 7a or less for halogen headlights (many convertors draw less for 55w halogens). The 12v option is not a bad one, but not for everyone. Around here, no one would have working lights (retired crowd around here would never charge it).

So.. Doubling up. We hooked the inverter up to the Aux 12v battery. I'm also going to hook up a battery tender to plug in when I charge my cart as well. My thought is the converter my gain me a couple of hours of play time when we use my cart to dj ally parties. Or it will keep my lights going on the way home at night.

Love the speakers and light kit, but most of all the ridiculous use of conversion! I'm preparing to do something similar and am now 100% on board! Thanks

Do you have a shot of how you are managing all this? Control panel with rockers, under the seat wiring, etc?
