Very long time, no post... Marathon trouble.
Some of you may remember me, others may not.
Working on my dad's old Marathon electric carts. These things have been through hell and back, but they are starting to show it. I need a little input to keep them alive for awhile longer. E-Z-Go A: Runs OK, but the batteries seem to discharge rather quickly (say two miles or less). E-Z-Go B: Takes a charge, but only shutters when the accelerator is depressed. My guess? Batteries are dying on A and dead on B. If that's the case, he won't want to put anymore money in batteries (he bought a Kubota RTV to replace them, but we still need a cart for other personnel). Anyone got a cheap reversible gas rearend they'd sell so I can convert one to gas? |

Load test all 12 batteries. Put the best 6 in EZ-GO "A" and see what ya got. This will be free and you might get lucky . Good luck - RAY

Thanks for the info. I'll give it a shot and see what happens.
