Default loosing power

Hey guys,
Got a problem for the experts to diagnose. 95 CC DS 48Volt, Just upgraded to #2 wire through out and not long after i started to develope a problem where whenever i'm running, the cart will start to slowly loose power and slow down, then it will speed back up, and then slow down, then speed up, etc. Also when i put it in reverse it takes about three seconds before it moves. I have upgraded the selenoid but everything else is stock, minus the 6inch lift and wheels.

Does this sound like a going F?R switch or Controller or Something else? Definatley happened after the cable upgrade. I have looked at the switch and nothing seems to be melting???

Any ideas? Turkey season is only two weeks away.....

Only 1 solenoid correct ?
Sounds like the controller to me , perhaps was/is on the edge, and can't handle the extra
amps ? Just a guess !

Does it do the same thing on Jack stands ?
