Default How to test a DA8-4013 motor

I would like to hook battery power directly to the motor to test it momentarily out of the cart. I've replaced the armature and brushes and check for continuity where it should be and none where it shouldn't. I've seen one picture online for an in-cart test of a series motor where the wiring is negative to A1, Positive to S2 and a jumper wire between S1 and A2.

Honestly I do not know if my motor is even a series motor. Also, the smaller posts are labeled F1 and F2, not S1 and S2. Does the F stand for field? Does that mean my motor is not a series?

I do not mind putting it back in the cart to test but the whole purpose of the test is to see if I have an issue with the controller or the motor to see if the cart is worth fixing. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It is a sepex motor.

Here is how to test it.

Be aware it doesn't have a front bearing, so it has to be mounted on the differential to be tested, else you'll damage the armature.

Where did you get your armature? I have same motor and need an armature or used DA8-4013 motor.
