Thanks everyone!

Slonomo, thank you for posting the Heidt's picture. I wasn't positive if what I'm using is mustang II, but after looking at your picture I would say that what it is. The parts had been sitting in the auto tech shop for 15 plus years gathering dust. I need to replace the urethane bushings and need to know exactly what it is.

I believe I have the controls arms closer to parallel since the pictures I posted those pictures.

Here are some pictures with it sitting on all fours. Rear end hasn't been touched yet...

I started looking at the rear end this weekend to get an idea for airbag placement and see how much room I have for air compressor, alltrax contoller, and batteries.

I decided to get two more Dirty Air shocks since it seems as if they were made for this purpose... I moved one to the rear from the front and laid out stance is within an 1/8" font to rear. saves me a lot of effort and space in the *** end. These pictures show the lowered stance. Think I will do what a lot of guys with lowered carts do and fab some new rocker panels that will make it look as though it's sitting on the ground.

Now to start learning about what battery configuration is best for the space I have. And how to power all the accessories that I want with 48 volts. Any input would be appreciated.

Project seems to be moving along nicely. Keep the pics coming. I might use those shocks on my next project.

I spent a long day in the shop yesterday fabricating the side skirts/rocker panels. Our welding program has all the metal fabrication equipment that I could ever need. Learned how to use both the shear and the brake.

Next I will start working on the outer caps for the two vertical towers that hold the seat backs. Thinking I will make them deep enough to house some 5 and 1/4 speakers

Nice looking skirt. Can't wait to see where this project goes.

I built a couple of battery boxes and a couple of new braces last weekend. Getting close to finish welding the front suspension, but I wanted a little more practice welding the angle iron before finishing the front end. Most of the welding I have done has been on thin gauge automotive sheet metal.

I have also built the side caps for the two towers that hold the seat back rest. I will post some pics of those once they have uploaded. I guess it's about time to cut the body plastics up to stretch them every which way.

Very impressive fabrication skills on the box and pan brake! I am hoping to buy one soon to make stuff like this for my G9.

Thank you everyone! I have a few pictures of the lower half of the front end as I rough spliced it together. My time was being taken up finishing a custom paint job my students had started prepping before school was put on hold due to the Corona Pandemic.
